Overview

The Eclipse System Overview course provides students with an overview of the basic features, equipment configuration and functionality for the Eclipse platform. Successfully completing a short assessment at the end of the course will provide students with credentials necessary towards the Aviat Network Associate certification level.

The Eclipse™ product family is a highly modular and scalable platform that delivers a unique combination of high capacity hybrid or all-packet transport, Carrier Ethernet/IP networking, and comprehensive mission critical microwave features, enabling operators to prepare for the all-IP future.
This course is also a pre-requisite for attending the Eclipse Installation, Operations and Maintenance (3-day) open-enrollment course.

Upon successfully completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the different network elements which are incorporated in Eclipse radio platform.
  • No technical knowledge prerequisites are needed.
  • PC with Internet access, Internet browser software, access and subscription to AviatCare LMS.
