Basic Networking and IP Routing- E-Learning
Overview
The Basic Networking and IP Routing Overview course is for field and operations persons who are involved with deploying, configuring and operating networking equipment, including microwave radios that transport Ethernet/IP data packets.
In this e-learning course are brief discussions on the fundamentals of computer networks. It covers the basics of networking, starting from the physical layer, moving up to switching concepts and the critical IP addressing. End-to-end data transport and the necessary upper layer protocols are also discussed. An introduction to VLANs is also included.
By the end of the module, the learner shall be equipped with the foundational knowledge of networking, enough to assist in troubleshooting small to medium-sized networks.
Completing a short assessment at the end of each module will provide students with credentials necessary towards the Aviat Network Associate certification level. (ANA)
