To do prior to the start of the virtual class:
There are 3 programs students need to run and they will need administrative rights to install these 3 programs.
- WebEx: they will need to run WebEx to do the virtual class (VILT). This can surely be done on a non-Windows computer such as a Mac, but they will need to have administrative rights to install it. This is the absolute minimum to do VILT.
- Pulse Secure: to do labs they will need to install the Pulse Secure VPN client to connect to our San Antonio lab. The software we give them for this is Windows-based so they will need a Windows computer with administrative rights to install and run this.
- Portal: they will need to install Portal to do the labs once connected to the VPN. Portal is also Windows-based, so they will need the Windows computer with administrative rights.
This course is int ended for Network Operations Center (NOC) operators and engineers involved in managing microwave networks using the ProVision Plus EMS.
