CTR 8500 Microwave Router
The Aviat CTR 8500 is a generation of converged Microwave Routers, a category of products that are designed to simplify mobile operator networks and lower total cost of ownership. Aviat Multi-Band Hitless Support for High Priority Traffic
In this video, one of our engineers demonstrates how this works in a bench test link. This link is configured for nearly 10 Gbps of aggregate capacity, supported by one E-Band/80 GHz channel running at 2000 MHz/128QAM, combined with two microwave channels operating in the 18 GHz band, each carrying 1 Gbps in a 112 MHz channel at 4096QAM. The Aviat WTM 4800 can support all three channels in one box, dual transceiver unit thanks to Aviat’s unique Adaptive Dual Channel (A2C+) feature.
