  • MARCH 2021
    • Added WTM 4811 (11 GHz) and WTM 4880_OMT (XPIC).
    • LOS MIMO support for WTM 4200. Tool calculates optimal MIMO antenna separation. If antenna separation is not optimal calculates threshold degradation.
    • Main antenna second and Space Diversity clearance criteria. Default criteria are automatically loaded for Vigants or ITU calculations methods from link coordinates.
    • Minimum K as specified in ITU R. P -520 -17. Minimum K can be added to Main antenna first or second criteria.
    • A2C+ for WTM 4100 (Improved RF if compared to A2C).
    • Added 17 GHz ETSI, 31 GHz (ETSI and ANSI), and 28 GHz ANSI frequency bands to the tool.
    • Adjustable Clutter Heights. Clutter heights and color can now be edited by the user.
  • JUNE 2020
    • A2C links now automatically use A2C power (no need to manually add losses for A2C). This feature works for WTM 4100 and multi-band links.
    • A warning window now alerts users when the maximum received signal is exceeded. Users can set the maximum received signal level and choose to automatically reduce it.
    • The updated GUI now includes the ability to create folders. This allows users to organize their projects. Folders can contain unlimited sub-folders. Shared projects are set in separate folder.
    • The link lines color scheme has been changed to reflect frequency band. The FCC layer has been synchronized with same color scheme.
    • The display of links in a project map can be clustered. This is especially useful for very large projects were rendering time can become slow. Clustering can be enabled or disabled by user and cluster size can be changed.
  • JANUARY 2020
    • Modified GUI with following improvements:
      • Simplified project overview window. Projects can be sorted alphabetically or by completion date.
      • Coordinates for sites can now be locked in main map to prevent accidental movement.
      • Links can be sorted alphabetically or by completion date in main map design window.
      • Sites can be searched in map window.
      • Added map view to PDF network report
    • Ability to select a portion of the path profile to calculate terrain roughness for the Vigants multipath method. The tool now offers two roughness calculation methods:
      • Sea Level Reference
      • Least Mean square fit
    • Back end automation to ensure Aviat Design always uses latest radio specifications (no outdated Pathloss™ files to worry about) .
    • Updated the Vigants Multipath method and worst month to annual availability conversion.
    • Updated and reviewed ITU-P.R 530-17 multipath method.
